THE PHUKET KING’S CUP REGATTA will put on a display of the sailing talent from around the world, competing in the Andaman Seas in Thailand to win the trophy, celebrating its 30th anniversary since its inauguration in 1987.
Over 150 boats and more than 1,500 sailors will be represented in this year’s race. The regatta serves as a platform for sponsors looking to Asia for growth, and boasts a long record of delivering successful sponsorship programmes for supporters.
The regatta’s series of beachside parties will attract over 1,500 participants of VIP guests, world-class sailors, participants as well as local and international media around the world. Many past sponsors of the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta return year after year to enjoy the public connection and media appeal. Last year’s sponsors included Principal Host Sponsor Kata Group Resorts Thailand.
