A love of food unites all Singaporeans, so what better way to bond with your kids than making a meal together?

With that aim in mind, Young Parents held its Fun Family Cooking Workshop 2017 on Dec 8 last year at ToTT in Dunearn Road. Here are some of the highlights. Look out for more exciting family events from YP this year!

Foster Foods’ Mountain Fresh Fruit Juices and Nestle Gerbers’ Puffs were a hit with families.

Michele Wong, director and principal dietitian of Nutriwerkz, shared her expert advice on how to manage picky eaters and took families through the Health Promotion Board’s healthy eating guidelines for children.

Chef Gary Tay of D’Open Kitchen showed participants how to make three kid-friendly dishes – Panda Bento, Chicken and Potato Pot Pie with Puff Pastry Bear, and Steam Rainbow Cake.

Every family took home a generous goodie bag filled with products from Okome, Foster Foods, Lion, Nestle and Woh Hup.

Participants tried Woh Hup’s Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste, which was spread on bread and toasted for a twist on traditional garlic bread.
