My Reading Room

Most piano models have a standard look and feel, and can stick out like a sore thumb in your stylishly designed home. Yamaha has launched a new colour for its popular Clavinova range of digital pianos, which will go perfectly with various home styles! It now comes in an attractive white ash finish, alongside existing colours such as black walnut, dark rosewood, and mahogany. Digital pianos have an electronic keyboard that provides an accurate simulation of an acoustic piano, and Clavinova is Yamaha’s long-running flagship digital piano range. It comprises the CLP and CVP series, which offer tones previously achievable only with grand pianos.

CLP models have basic functions and simpler designs, while CVP models are packed with more entertainment features, such as auto-accompaniment functions for a full ensemble performance. Clavinova is perfect for apartments in Singapore, which may not have space for large traditional acoustic pianos. You can also play and practise late into the night without worrying about disturbing your family members and neighbours by just plugging a set of headphones into the piano. Recording and playback is also easy, with the use of a USB fl ash memory card. Minimal maintenance is needed, as tuning is not required.
