LUXURY FURNITURE STORE
Established here since 1994, Da Vinci is one of the first luxury furniture stores in Singapore, known for its decorative, classical-style furniture. Recently, it opened a 10,000sqf double-storey showroom in the heart of Orchard Road, called Da Vinci Lifestyle, signalling a new direction for the brand. Gone are the oversized gilded pieces, and in their place are dining sets, modular sofas, and stylish beds and decor accessories, which fill the large and open showroom space.
“We stock mostly contemporary-style products, which resonate with the taste of many homeowners now,” shares Raymond Phua, managing creative director of Da Vinci Lifestyle. The showroom offers a good mix of furniture from mid- to high-end brands such as Malerba, Natuzzi and Fendi Casa from Italy, and Keno Bros from the US, which are part of the approximately 30 international furniture brands the store carries.
To keep the store looking fresh, Raymond says: “We bring in new pieces, and change the displays in the showroom every three months.” If you prefer a more luxurious look, head to the second floor, which showcases Fendi Casa’s exquisite living, dining and bedroom pieces that are displayed in home settings. Add a touch of glamour with accessories such as lamps, pouffes and even a diamond-studded cushion.
