Your child doesn’t need green fingers to be a horticulturist at Gardens by the Bay. Its Garden Troopers: Green Encounters school holiday programme, designed for kids aged seven to nine, returns on Nov 25. Young Parents joined the kids at the previous session in June and learnt plant-care tips, as well as created an air plant garden. We also took part in a botanical scavenger hunt at the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories. Sign up at www.tinyurl.com/GardenTroopers by Oct 31 at $80 per child or $60, if you have a Friends of the Garden membership. The fee includes lunch and snacks.
