1 He’s older than he looks
Over the last four years, he’s played a highschooler in 21 Jump Street, a frat boy in Bad Neighbours, and a young street magician in Now You See Me, so you’re forgiven if you mistook this babyfaced actor for a 20-something-year-old. In actual fact, Dave turns 30 this month.
2 He’s a cat guy
He has two cats, Harry and Arturo. He described himself as a “weird cat guy”, and when his friends meet him, they’d ask how he’s been, followed by how his cats are doing. And it’s not just him, the whole Franco family loves cats – his mum and older brother James both own two cats each.
3 He broke Zac Efron’s hand... with his crotch
Yup, you read that right. While filming a fight scene on the set of Bad Neighbours, the script called for Zac to swing his hand at Dave’s unmentionables. He supposedly swung too hard and broke his hand. Whew.
