Invite nature in.

Plants have a soothing effect and can even help purify the air to give you a good night’s sleep. Choose low-maintenance species, like the snake plant, aloe vera or peace lily, that won’t emit strong scents.

Less is more.

Your bedroom is where you can rest and unwind from the day’s activities, so pick a neutral colour palette like classic black-and-white that won’t overwhelm the senses. If you love colours, use them as accents to bring character to the room, but keep furnishings at a minimum to reduce visual clutter.

Add a soft touch.

Use lots of soft furnishings like a carpet, throw or a plush area rug that can instantly make a room look and feel cosier and more comfortable. They’re also an easy way to create a luxurious-looking space you’ll want to escape to each night!
