Most clubbers will be familiar with the concept of admission fees, but Bang Bang has done away with that. With the unveiling of its new look in January, the 3.5-year-old nightclub at Pan Pacific Hotel has decided to drop cover charges.

Accompanying this bold move is a vibrant, sprucedup space that is the perfect backdrop for all the Instagram moments revellers desire to capture.

The interiors are a real doozy, bathed in groovy shades of magenta and wine, with mirrored ceilings and cool fittings like the UV-coated diamond dance cages and raised dancefloor.

Asked about the revamp, the co-founders of SJS Group – who also brought us bars Lulu’s Lounge and Employees Only – Joshua and Sarissa Schwartz said: “We believe strongly in reinvesting the business and that, after three years, it was a good time for a refresh.”

They roped in Bernard Johnson of EDG to spearhead the transformation, who aimed to make Bang Bang a versatile space that welcomes all partygoers.

The neon lights and raised stage will electrify those life-of-the-party types, but there are also cosy banquette seats for chill partygoers who just want to soak in the atmosphere.

Everything’s been taken care of – the cover charge, the space, and especially the music – so all that’s left to do is let down your hair, and start the night with a bang.
