At the lift lobby, a clubby ambience takes over with a wall light installation complete with the quote “read my lips”.
“You’ll spot several lip motifs in various parts of the property, as we wanted a sensual, cheeky vibe,” says Abigail Lam, the marketing communications manager at Oakwood Studios.
Many facilities are designed to cater to different guests’ requirements and preferences. For example, the lounge and outdoor seating areas on the first floor, which sport quirky design features and art pieces, allow guests to mingle. Movable furniture and large tables offer flexible workspaces, too. There are quieter spaces within the property, such as the lush garden terrace, where guests can retreat to for privacy. The rooftop sky garden houses the gymnasium, a swimming pool, and an entertainment deck.
With a selection of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, the rooms are decked out in modern, contemporary furniture and furnishings. “As our guests usually stay for at least seven nights, there are several personalised services that we offer,” shares Abigail.
Studios advocates work-life balance and ensures residents feel at home during their stay. There is even a unique tea service, where customised brews based on your palette and preference are offered in-room.
Instead of regular access key cards, in-room smartphones function as apartment keys. These Samsung devices also offer complimentary data and local calls, and can be brought out of the property for guests to enjoy ease of connectivity on the go.
