Arete Culture continues to build on its reputation as an interior expert with a new residential design arm.
Following on the success of its interior styling services since its establishment in 2010, Arete Culture recently began offering interior design services as well with the launch of its new arm, Atelier by Arete.
“We started Atelier by Arete to introduce a new and flexible approach to residential design in Singapore,” says founder Caroline Chin Geyler.
With a focus on providing a personalised experience, the design studio has gone beyond offering conventional fixed packages, with a new mix-and-match concept allowing homeowners to curate their own customised package. Options include interior design as well as other services such as painting, upholstery, deep cleaning of upholstery and carpets, as well as wallpaper selection and installation, which are offered by its other partners.
At the heart of Arete Culture’s expansion plans is its impressive new showroom, a sprawling 8,000 sq ft space with a double-height ceiling and interiors that embody Atelier by Arete’s design direction. Dedicated areas styled with the brand’s standout furniture pieces (which you can purchase) make it easy to visualise how they will look like at home.
Customers can also browse customisable or one-of-a-kind furniture at the Home Lifestyle Zone, choose from over 120 gorgeous carpet designs at the Carpet Gallery, view a vast array of laminates, wallpapers and upholstery fabric, and even pick up abstract art pieces sourced from around the region at the Art Gallery. Chic weather-friendly furniture and accessories can be found at the Outdoor Area, while the design workshop (by appointment only) is where you can get help constructing a customised piece. A tastefully furnished Meeting Area occupies the mezzanine level, making your consultation experience with the studio’s interior specialists both welcoming and stimulating.
