Rachel Lim, 28, entrepreneur
She’s best known as one of the three original founders of popular local e-tailer Love, Bonito, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. And on Instagram, she’s @ms_rach with more than 80,000 followers. In 2016, I’ll be… focusing on growing Love, Bonito. I’m also hoping to empower women by sharing my stories as an entrepreneur.
Rick Yang, 35, hairstylist and makeup artist at Fac3inc
He worked on his first Her World spread 15 years ago – just one year after learning how to apply makeup. Since then, he has become known for his bold, creative looks. To kick off 2016, Rick worked on the hair and makeup for our cover girl this month. In 2016, I’ll be… concentrating on growing Fac3inc, the company I co-founded with two other beauty industry veterans, Peter Khor and John Lee. We now have a team of almost 10, and we’re looking forward to more exciting projects and beauty workshops.
Neo Lirong, 29, freelance fashion stylist
She’s the stylist of local stars like Rui En and Romeo Tan, and a regular contributor to Her World. In 2016, I’ll be… starting my own fashion business. It might be a clothing brand or something based on a fashion blog. I’ll reveal more when the time comes! All I want from the Spring/Summer 2016 collections are… the logo sweater and metallic croco pants from Loewe!
