We take a walk down memory lane and crush on our first love, Ronan Keating.

Ronan Keating is one of the most successful postboyband solo acts who’s actually putting out great music, and not making the news for the wrong reasons. Time of My Life is the singer’s tenth studio album since Boyzone, and he thinks it’s his best work yet. We’re guessing it might have something to do with his source of inspiration – his wife, Storm Uechtritz, whom he married last August.
So it’s not surprising that the tracks are imbued with optimism, which makes it a great pick-me-up. The record is packed with original tracks, save for “Falling Slowly”, which he performed for his musical Once. This is definitely an album you’d want to play on repeat when you need a dose of positivity

Singer Paddy Jonathan Ong shares the three albums that are his current earworms.

Olympic Ayres
LEISUREPLEX
As a band, we love anything with a strong groove and this duo has it in spades. The first song I heard from the band was “Magic”. It was on a video game soundtrack and it got me hooked. The indie electronic vibes and disco-pop sensibilities are super fresh.

Jeff Buckley
GRACE
This album will stand the test of time. It’s raw, visceral and divine. No one else sounds like Jeff Buckley, and it's telling that his work has inspired two of the most talented artists from the '90s, Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Muse's Matthew Bellamy.

Stopgap
TOTEMS
A really refreshing listen, this album is full of swagger and honesty. “A Tough Nut to Crack” boasts excellent songwriting and melodic magnificence. It’s been a while since we’ve heard a release as brilliant and earnest as this one.

THE JEZABELS – SYNTHIA
When it comes to indie rock band The Jezabels, you can expect nothing short of great music. The band goes back to its signature synth pop sound in Synthia, with tracks like “Come Alive” boasting synths and heavy beats, accompanied by Hayley Mary’s breathy vocals. Definitely a breath of fresh air from the pop tunes that are dominating the airwaves.
