Known for its Arctic climate and an average temperature of -2.2°C, the Swedish city welcomes a brand new sauna experience. Consisting of 69 separate pieces, Solar Egg is an art installation inspired by the contrasting and dynamic surroundings of the city’s iron ore fields. The mobile cocoons are five metres high and four metres wide with a shell of gold-plated stainless steel, and heat is provided by a heartshaped wood-fire burner inside the oval sauna. www.riksbyggen.se/solaregg
