From the moment I became a mother, my purpose has been to love and protect my children with everything I have. And what I didn’t have or couldn’t find, I created,” says RAPH&REMY designer and founder, Tiffany Okumu.

When faced with the lack of quality, well-designed and affordable baby products and gifts, she decided to develop her own brand to offer babywear that checks all these boxes. And so RAPH&REMY was born. Launched as an online store in July 2019, the label—named after Okumu’s two sons, Raphael and Remy—quickly won over mums looking for tasteful and comfortable baby essentials.

Having lived in Singapore for almost a decade, the Australian mother-of-two understands the need for cool, breathable fabrics that won’t chafe or irritate infants’ delicate skin. Bamboo is the fabric of choice for all RAPH&REMY apparel, from the onesies and knotted gowns to the socks and mittens. An earth-friendly and amazingly soft material, bamboo is three times more absorbent than cotton, and has natural moisture-wicking abilities that help keep tots feeling and smelling fresh. Its latest Premium Bamboo Zippie collection, for instance, is designed with both style and practicality in mind. A onesie with a zipper down the middle, it is available in short and long versions (striped or plain, in four colours) as well as sizes for newborns, infants and toddlers up to two years of age. The two-way zipper is a lifesaver when it comes to diaper changes. The long version comes with attached foldover mittens and booties so you’ll never lose them; the latter even has anti-slip silicone soles to ensure Baby’s safety when first steps are taken.
