My son, Ian Robby De Silva, was three years old when YP invited him to a photo shoot for its October 2003 issue. It was one of the happiest days of his life! He was excited to be all dressed up in cool clothes and shoes, and with a nice hairstyle. He was very natural in front of the camera at the photo shoot, which took place at the Scape park in Orchard. He was invited by YP again for photo shoots for Play-Doh, Fussy Eaters and the first volume of the Young Parents Preschool Guide.” Linda De Silva.
“My boy has grown up with YP. He attended the Young Parents Fiesta at Marina Square in 2012 when he was just 18 months old, and in 2014, too.” Sonia Yong Sui Fun
“We won a staycation at Shangri-La. It was a wonderful experience to relax and recharge our batteries.” Jason Koh Jun Jie.
“Our favourite YP memory was when Peng Liang was featured in the What a Cutie section of the December 2014 issue. Definitely a treasured memento for him. Thank you, YP.” Loh Siew Chin.
“The Young Parents Fiesta in 2015. It was my first time at a YP event, and my son and my nephew were excited to meet the Minions on stage.” Law Chin Huan
“As a new mother, one of the most important things I’ve learnt was from a particular article from Young Parents about coping with a lack of sleep after Baby arrives. The article advised on five ways to cope, with the last tip hitting the spot. “Bear in mind that no matter how stressed you and your spouse feel about the lack of sleep at the moment, this phase is only temporary.” This sentence meant so much to me and it made me more positive about the months ahead. Thank you, YP.” Cheryl Tan.
“I just can’t stop browsing your magazine every month as I get inspired by styles featured on your baby models. Here are my two kids.” Jamie Chaw.
“I’m glad that YP provides many articles that speak to me when I’m caring for my baby.” Liu Mei Wa.
“Since my pregnancy seven years ago, I’ve subscribed to Young Parents. I enjoy reading it as I can always relate to the stories and get to know more useful products via the ads. I was overjoyed when I saw my little girl’s face in the magazine! I entered her into a contest but was not notified of the win earlier. I was and still am very happy about her ‘modelling’ experience.” Joyce Goh Li Fong.
“Articles which motivated me and inspired me as a first-time dad! YP also helps me understand more about young parents in Singapore, especially when they share their stories and the cute baby photos.” Lim Kah Koon.

“Firstly, I would like to wish Young Parents a very happy 30th birthday. I’m also celebrating my 30th birthday this year – double happiness! When I came across Young Parents, I fell in love with it. I like its layout, news and articles, which are very informative. I subscribed to the magazine at the Young Parents Fiesta and received a cool toy for my son. On top of that, he took part in the Baby contest, and won. Thanks!” Asmath Banu.
“My boy was a finalist in the YP Fiesta child photo contest held at Marina Square in 2013!” Chan Chuei Mei.

“Seeing my elder daughter’s photo published in the magazine made me so happy. It was a precious memory that I still keep till today... That’s my baby! I’m looking forward to submitting my newborn’s photo for the What a Cutie contest.” Alex Liow.
Both my children were fortunate enough to be featured in YP ’s What a Cutie contest as winning entries! YP sure is a memorable part of their childhood!” Elaine Chai.
“It was back in 1999 when I first chanced upon YP on a magazine rack. I was 16 and, no, I wasn’t pregnant! I was just browsing through magazines and trying to figure out what was cool at that time. I remembered thinking that YP looked very happening. It changed my impression of how a parent should be! I secretly vowed to be like a YP parent when I grew up and this has shaped me to be the parent I am today.” Billie Anne Lyou.
“I love Young Parents very much. I have been reading this magazine since I was expecting my first child. I am a mother of two girls. They are seven and five years old now. I’ve stopped working since I gave birth, but I work 24/7 for them with joy. Thanks to the useful information shared by YP, I have developed so much over these few years. I will continue to support Young Parents and, hopefully, I will have another baby soon!” Ling Chan.
“It was a very good source of information for me as a first-time mum and I first read it when I went for my pregnancy check-up. I was totally clueless about pregnancy stages, and a child’s developmental stages from birth to preschooler age. It educated me and I’ve been reading YP from the time my elder son was a baby till now – he’s going to turn four. Happy 30th birthday, Young Parents.” Joyce Tan Bee Chin.
“I was very lucky to have won premiere movie tickets to Jurassic World. At the time, my little brother had been waiting for it to be released. He was so happy that I won tickets for him. All thanks to Young Parents for always organising awesome giveaways! Keep up the good work!” Tan Wan Jun.
“My fondest memories would definitely be attending the Young Parents Fiesta every year and also taking part in the Young Parents magazine cover contest. My elder boy was one of the nominees, but he didn’t win. Nonetheless, I am glad he was selected among the many entries and his photo was published in the magazine. I still keep that issue!” Looi Yi Fang.
“During the school holidays last June, I took both my girls to the Young Parents Fiesta at United Square. I won first-prize vouchers, and my girls won some prizes, too.” Serraine Teo Lay Ying.

“The ‘It’s not you, it’s her’ article from YP ’s May 2013 issue has me hooked onto its monthly issues! The article helped me to open up and gave me the right approach to solve the problems that I was facing. I love YP as the articles are so relevant and so real! They help young couples a lot and I simply love reading each and every article, and try out the tips and advice given! YP has shaped my parenting style and I’ve grown to be a confident Mummy, thanks to Young Parents all these years!” Wei Wei.

“We came back to Singapore after a three-year hiatus, this time
with a toddler and a baby on the way. I picked up my first copy of Young
Parents from my obstetrician’s clinic and I’m happy I did. It’s a great
read for expat mums like me, because it’s packed with information about
parenting, development and education. The articles I really enjoy
reading are those that feature activity ideas for families here in
Singapore. It seems like staycations are all the buzz here, and that’s
just what we did!” Ester Miettinen.
“I proudly display Young Parents magazines on my shelves! They provide me with very informative content which I highly recommend to all my friends.” Richie Liang.
