The second is undergoing commissioning in the Mediterranean before delivery to a marina in Slovenia. The third boat will go to an Owner in Hong Kong and the fourth to the Middle East.
First announced in late 2014, the Explorer 58 Pilot House is a semi-displacement cruiser offering three cabins and two bathrooms with the master suite stretching across the full beam amidships. The master stateroom includes a king size bed, wide bedside tables, built-in wardrobes and a sliding Japanese-style door to the en-suite bathroom.
The main deck includes a salon with warm teak timbers and a plush U-shaped lounge. Three steps up is the fully-equipped galley with four-burner convection hob and twin stainless steel sinks, the dinette and pilot house.
Powered by a pair of Cummins turbo diesel engines, the Explorer 58 Pilot House is capable of up to 23 knots and is equally comfortable cruising at an elegant eight knots for maximum range and economy. With a fuel capacity of more than 5,000 litres, she has a range of up to 1,500nm at the slower speeds.
