My Reading Room
If you are looking for a one-stop mall for all things children-related, United Square wins hands down.
Well-known as a kids’ learning mall, United Square houses renowned enrichment centres like The Learning Lab and Growing Up Gifted. Those requiring speech and language therapy can zoom in on TLC Speech & Language Clinic. There are more than 140 shops here, many of which are devoted to childrelated products. Parents and their little ones can stock up on casual togs, shop for sportswear, find the perfect shoe, and shop for quality kids’ furniture. There are also plenty of child-friendly services, including paediatric and dental clinics, and optical shops.
UNDER ONE ROOF
It’s no surprise that this mall has been awarded the We Welcome Families Excellence Award. Family bonding activities are aplenty at United Square, while the kids will be endlessly entertained with pockets of play facilities and constant mall shows and events. You’ll soon discover that United Square is chock-ablock with family-friendly features – from a luxurious nursing room, colour-themed levels, spacious corridor walkways and play features, right down to animalshaped rubbish bins. Cultivate your young one’s love of reading at The Reading Room, which is filled with books and located next to the Concierge at Level 1.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY
We know that kids learn best through play – and so does United Square. Be it a seat with Singa the Kindness Mascot, the Wisdom Wall, posters, or informational brochures available around the mall’s poster stands, learning opportunities are subtly weaved into the shopping experience. To inculcate positive values early on, the Wisdom Wall – located within Connectz at Level 1 – dishes out important information ranging from simple “Did you know” facts to key Government campaign messages. Learn about fighting flu, crime prevention, kindness, and proper steps to take prior to doing sports activities here. Its fun “Let’s Go Around the World” concept teaches little learners about the seven continents and five oceans, various types of currencies, different foods and country flags. One day, your tot may even surprise you by saying “Hello” in various languages!
