It’s the June school holidays – a time when you may develop a case of suffering too much children. We know this too well, that’s why we’ve come up with our 12-page parenting special (page 115) that is aimed to keep you in control (and maintain your sanity) as you entertain the kids during the school break.

It was a natural choice for us to get Features Writer Sylvia Ong, who has three boys, to shortlist 25 fun and exciting activities the family can do together, and the best toys to educate as they engage. PLUS we’re giving away special family packages to iFLY Singapore, Alive Museum, Sentosa 4D Advertureland and more (see page 132).

If you’ve booked a family trip away from home, then don’t miss our fashion and beauty stories designed to keep you looking fabulous wherever your destination – be it a sunny resort (turn to page 43 for Senior Beauty Writer Arissa Ha’s beach essentials) or a chic cosmopolitan city (you’ll want to turn to page 86 for your must-pack travel capsule).

I also love that this issue is filled with ways to maximise our lives without having to burn a hole in our pockets. In “Make Cash From Clutter” (page 110), our new Content Writer Elizabeth Liew shares easy tips on converting, what could be trash, to cash, and she also shares great ways to add style to the home, from just $30 (page 136). I know how popular leisurely weekend brunches are. With our delicious menu (page 140), you can have friends over for a brunch soiree – it costs less and is way more enjoyable!
