Guests accustomed to The Ritz-Carlton standard of luxury can now find it at sea with the launch of The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection. The fleet of three superyachts comes with sumptuous, modern interiors, but the experience extends to land as well, with curated destination activities involving local chefs, artists and musicians. At 190m in length, the ships are smaller than traditional cruise vessels, allowing them access to smaller islands along their northern Europe and Caribbean routes. Excursions, which range from seven to 10 days, will begin in the Caribbean next November, but Marriott Rewards members get first dibs on reservations this May. www.ritzcarlton.com

01 RITZ AMENITIES
The first ship will see five restaurants, including one managed by chef Sven Elverfeld of three-Michelin-star restaurant Aqua in Ritz Carlton Wolfsburg, as well as a signature spa, an infinity pool and a sunbathing deck that leads directly to the water, where guests can board speedboats and kayaks.

02 BEST IN CLASS
At 103 sqm, the onebedroom Penthouse is the largest suite available with its own dining table and private whirlpool. There are two of such quarters on the 149-suite ship, and they can be combined to create a larger space.

03 BETTER ACCESS
The yachts are smaller than traditional cruise vessels, but this size allows them access to ports on smaller islands.
