Fourteen years, US$10 million (S$13.9 million), and more than five million potential young beneficiaries: These are the impressive numbers behind Montblanc’s partnership with Unicef, which helps children in need in 190 countries. Since 2004, it has helped to raise more than US$10 million for Unicef. Funds go towards improving learning for children via better educational tools and quality teaching.

The brand’s latest collection in aid of the fund is an all-encompassing one that includes leather goods, jewellery pieces for men and women, watches and, of course, writing instruments.

The leather goods – which range from larger pieces such as a document bag, to smaller items such as a wallet and cardholder – feature a special blue lining with a design comprising characters from six languages.

This design, or versions of it, is also used in objects such as special-edition Meisterstuck pens, as well as a lined notebook.

Form and function, all of which further a good cause – now, that’s a collection we can get behind.
