The Peak held its 9th G Restaurant Awards on June 4, with 300 people in attendance. Guests consisted of ambassadors, top chefs, restaurateurs, key trade partners and The Peak readers.
Odette, a contemporary French restaurant helmed by chef Julien Royer, emerged as Restaurant of the Year. Hashida Sushi (which in June reopened under the name Sushi Ayumu) was presented with the G Hallmark of Excellence for having consistently met stellar standards since its opening.
A total of 48 outstanding restaurants – with 14 making their debut on the list – were honoured at the ceremony.
That evening, guests dined on a buffet spread put together by the Sheraton Towers culinary team. Guests also enjoyed offerings from Kaiseki Yoshiyuki, Fossa Chocolate, Perrier, Salut Lebanon and Yoku Moku.
