Our skin is exposed to innumerable pollutants every day. Simply walking down a street can result in particles from car exhaust fumes, haze, dust and secondhand cigarette smoke from the surroundings settling onto our skin and into pores. Couple that with Singapore’s climate causing skin to become oilier, and you’ve got the perfect storm for blackheads that are resistant to regular cleansing because of the impurities mixing with sebum and stubbornly plugging up pores.

Facial cleansers help to dissolve sebum and wipe away surface impurities from the skin with foam that’s easily rinsed away, but they cannot decongest stuffed pores or remove blackheads and whiteheads.

For this, you’ll need something that can draw out pollutant particles and toxins accumulated within each pore, as well as absorb sebum and reduce the buildup of residual makeup and skincare products on your skin.

That’s where Korean cosmetics company Innisfree’s best-selling masks, formulated with volcanic ash from South Korea’s famed Jeju Island, can work their magic.

The ash is refined into micro volcanic clay clusters smaller than our pores and formulated into Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask and Jeju Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask. These are said to be able to penetrate pores and absorb excess sebum, as well as remove the residual pollutant particles trapped within them, while also taking care of your other skin needs.

Both have a smooth and creamy texture that glides evenly over skin to cover every pore, including those between fine lines.

Suitable for dry and sensitive skin, JejuVolcanic Clay Mousse Mask contains 3,000mg of Jeju volcanic clay clusters and hyaluronic acid to leave your skin thoroughly cleansed and moisturised.

If you have oily to combination skin that needs a stronger cleanser to absorb more sebum, try Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask, which contains 6,020mg ofJeju volcanic clay clusters as well as alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids and walnut shell extract. All work together toexfoliate surface debris and eliminate blackheads and whiteheads, leaving skin smooth, clear and purified.
