RUN HAPPY

While running regularly is a great way to sweat it out, the aches that come along with it are honestly not great at all. If you find yourself experiencing joint pain.

While running regularly is a great way to sweat it out, the aches that come along with it are honestly not great at all. If you find yourself experiencing joint pain, here are some ways to remedy it:

AVOID RUNNING ON ROADS

Instead, run on the track. Doing so reduces the impact on your joints, especially your knees, ankles and hips.

GIVE YOURSELF BREAKS

Don’t push yourself too hard. Rest at least one day after a run to give your body ample time to recover.

STRETCH IT OUT

Always remember to stretch adequately before and after a run. Use dynamic stretches pre-run and static stretches post-run.

USE ICE

Icing the affected area after a run can help to reduce inflammation and swelling.
