Clean With Colour

This paint does much more than colour your walls. Natural Power Sericite Paint is made from naturally occurring Sericite ore, which has powerful antimicrobial, antifungal, and detoxification properties.

Studies have shown that it emits negative ions, which are able to clean the air of pollutants, odours, and more. The paint, from Korea, (where the ore is mined) comes in two formulations – ready paint (26 hues), and powdered paint (10 hues), which provides a thicker coat. The formulation is safe enough for kids to paint with, using their hands!

Sustainable Showers

With a limited water flow of nine litres per minute, the Hansgrohe Eco Smart Crometta showerheads use less water, and thus consume less energy to heat up the water.

This sustainable technology will not compromise your showering experience though, with two spray modes (soft rain and intense rain). The range comprises overhead and hand showers, shower sets and shower pipes.

THE HANSGROHE ECO SMART CROMETTA RANGE IS AVAILABLE AT HANSGROHE BOUTIQUE, 69 MOHAMED SULTAN ROAD, TEL: 6884-5060. CHECK OUT WWW.HANSGROHE.COM.SG.

Better Than Wood

Together with business partner Patrick Tan (a patent specialist and chemist), entrepreneur Rovin Wong has developed a revolutionary new wood-like material made of cement, which they call cement clone wood, under the brand Green Rider. “It is environmentally friendly, as production does not involve cutting down trees; the material also does not release any harmful emissions.

It is a homogenous material that’s chea per than wood. It is also durable and weatherproof, and does not crack, rot or deform over time. Clients are able to reproduce the look of aged or rare wood, which may be expensive or unavailable. I have prototypes of a range that is softer and more flexible, and can be used on curved surfaces,” says Rovin.

The material is laid like tiles, using concrete or tile adhesives. Cement clone wood of different thickness, hardness, and forms are suitable for various uses, such as building material, in interiors, for landscaping and decor accessories.

VIEW THE COLLECTION AT THE MATERIALS DESIGN LAB, #02-02 NATIONAL DESIGN CENTRE, 111 MIDDLE ROAD, AND ZHAPLIN GROUP OF COMPANIES, #05-24 WOODLANDS SPECTRUM I, 2 WOODLANDS SECTOR 1. VISIT WWW.GREENRIDER.SG AND WWW.FB.COM/GREEN.RIDER.SG.
