The trouble with 22K jewellery: the nasty yellow. And its association with traditional Chinese betrothals. Poh Heng’s ORO22 collection wants to change these perceptions by dialling down the yellow into a champagne hue (the local jeweller calls it Moonlight Glow) while dialling up the style with ’80s inspirations (chunky rings, architectural bangles, Sade earrings and collarbone pieces). Good move. From $1,100 to $45,000.
