Get your ideal bod with Body by BTL, a fat-reducing and body contouring programme that combines three different treatments for better results.
They say that the best things come in threes: little pigs, French hens and, now, a new technologically advanced treatment programme called Body by BTL.
Available at Fusion Medical & Aesthetic, Body by BTL combines three FDA-approved treatments: Vanquish ME, X Wave and Exilis Elite, to target different areas for more effective overall body contouring. According to resident doctor/director Dr Wenus Ho and director Dr Juliana Latif, this programme caters to a growing demand for non-invasive ways to reduce stubborn fat and tighten skin.
You can finally target that wobbly tummy, love handles and those dreaded “bat wings” that exercise and diet just can’t seem to shift. Plus you won’t need to spend precious time going for different appointments and multiple sessions.
Here’s what Body by BTL offers:
1. Vanquish ME uses radio frequency energy to heat and destroy fat cells immediately beneath the skin surface. Over time, these are naturally excreted by the body. The treatment also targets skin laxity and help stimulate production of new collagen cells. It’s designed to treat large areas like the tummy and hips over a short period of time – between three and five sessions are recommended over the course of seven to 10 days. Usually, there’s a warm but not uncomfortable sensation during treatment.
2. X-Wave is said to prevent cellulite from returning or worsening by using acoustic radial soft waves (sound pulses that induce vibration). People who have tried it say that it feels like a massage, and doctors claim that improvements are usually seen after at least four once-weekly sessions.
3. Exilis Elite, like Vanquish ME, uses radio frequency to destroy fat cells, but it’s typically used on smaller areas, such as the underarms and chin. This energy reaches the dermis (the layer of skin where collagen is produced), where it supposedly tightens skin while busting fat. It can also be used to tighten skin on the body, face, neck and eye, and to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It’s usually used once a week for two to six weeks.
You can have all three treatments in a single session, though the recommended schedules are different, so it’s best to work with your doctor to come up with an overall plan that best suits your needs.
