Rebel Revolt

In a world full of high walls and shiny public spaces, where do the “excluded” go? Who has the right to the city? These are just some of the questions The Substation’s latest exhibition, “Discipline the City”, aims to address. For the first time in Singapore, punk leaders and artists have come together to create a web of misaligned spaces, from a defunct museum representing failed channels of expression, to a disorienting all-white room, and trap doors that lead into a pitch-black basement that can be viewed as both a hideaway or dungeon.run till November 2017 at The Substation.
