Help your child build a strong foundation in Mandarin with an allimmersive approach.

Immersion in the arts develops each child’s creativity and strengthens the relationship between dynamic thought and language acquisition. As children experience language in action within a newly discovered art form, they feel motivated to communicate and express themselves.

The outcome? Confident and expressive speakers. Now, imagine your child learning about some of China’s most ancient cultural art forms, while improving their Mandarin language skills— and absolutely loving both! That’s what happens when you sign them up for Chengzhu Mandarin Centre’s Chinese Cultural Arts programme, one of the centre’s most popular courses for children between Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 2.

This innovative holistic programme introduces children to a wide variety of art forms that engage them cognitively, physically and emotionally. The centre’s teachers and qualified early childhood educators will lead children through a range of music, dance, art, drama and literary activities; from performing classic tales like The Monkey King to ink brush painting, and even learning how to make rice dumplings.

Children who participate in this deeply enriching cultural arts programme will benefit further from attending daily preschool classes at the new Chengzhu Mandarin Kindergarten (for Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 2 students), where they will experience even more exciting opportunities to learn through the arts.

TIPS FROM THE EXPERTS

1. Create a Mandarin-learning environment at home with Chinese books and music CDs.

2. Babies’ brains are perfectly wired for language acquisition, so start engaging your child in creative activities as young as possible.

3. Children learn best when they experience language in action—when they move and have fun, they remember better!
