Christian Louboutin designed an immersive experience to celebrate his latest spring/summer 2020 collection, taking guests on an imaginary journey. It started in Paris with a spectacular display of shoes featuring everything the brand is known for—sharp spikes, novel shapes and innovative designs.

After that, it was time to board the plush environs of the LouBhoutan Express, which brought passengers like Natalia Vodianova, Heidi Klum and Ellie Bamber all the way to Bhutan. There, they were greeted by a capsule collection that showcased the results of a six-year collaboration with the School of the Royal Arts and Crafts in Bhutan. Consisting of 13 different styles, the shoes displayed a rich cultural legacy as well as the exquisite craftsmanship of local artisans, with a spotlight on traditional Bhutanese techniques like wood-carving, metalwork, relief embroidery and hand-painting.
