After the Harper’s BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award show and Zipcode talk with Jason Wu, our tea party with Nicole Warne was just the fun, fresh fête we needed. Guests arrived in botanical ensembles as they meandered into M Social’s Beast & Butterflies, framed by sprawling glass walls that invited the lush outdoors in. The highlight of the afternoon was a chat between digital star Warne and Editor-in-Chief Kenneth Goh, who talked about social media identities and the future of content—think virtual reality— sparking more intimate conversations across a venue filled with fashion industry makers, musicians, influencers, society darlings and more.
Every good party has a centrepiece, but ours had five: An Instantly.sg 180-degree 3D gif booth, a retro gumball machine dispensing Yves Rocher products, a Bynd Artisan booth to customise your own leather straps, a flower bar by Charlotte Puxley, and a wall of iPads showing iconic BAZAAR editorials. Elsewhere, there were Fujifilm instax cameras flashing all the way to the garden outside, where Warne was spotted directing a mini photo shoot of her own.
