After years of creating dream wardrobes for women, Stella McCartney has finally extended her expertise to menswear with her first collection this spring/summer. It’s a long time coming for the designer who has referenced menswear codes in her works at her eponymous brand. McCartney is well-versed in men’s tailoring, having honed her craft under Savile Row tailor Edward Sexton. The experience is evident in her impressive mix of tailored, casual numbers and slogan tees, many printed with the statement “Members and Non Members Only”. In short: It was a range full of attitude, perfect for the urban man who loves the brand for what it stands for— unpretentious and carefree.
