INDIE DECADE

I LOVE OLD SCHOOL CRPGs and Adventure games like Planescape: Torment or Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. But there are times, I just want to break character; do things that I want to do, not what the character I created in the game would do. Some games have tried to give more leeway in character development such as Knights of the Old Republic or Mass Effect, but Disco Elysium takes it to new heights. If there was ever a game with no “wrong” way to role-play, this is it.
