THE SEAHS (previous page)

An ability to look preternaturally, effortlessly chic seems to run in the family of Charmaine Seah- Ong (second from right), co-founder of branding agency Elementary Co. and member of the Female Collective – from her charismatic parents Philip and Christine (both middle) to her first brother Russell (extreme left), who recently left the creative industry to become a financial adviser. Here they are in the senior Seahs’ Telok Kurau bungalow – de facto weekend hangout and venue of several gatherings that have resulted in visits from the police for noise complaints – with their spouses and Seah-Ong’s daughters. Missing from picture: second brother Brandon, who works in fashion in New York, and youngest brother Darryl, who’s studying in Vancouver.

JOEL LIM AND SOLEIL MAK

The photographer (him) and stylist (her) couple behind the cheeky Instagram account Cop That Cover (@copthatcover), which satirises the covers of fashion magazines, in their newly renovated, industrialthemed Upper Changi Road apartment. Of its nude/brown/ white/black colour scheme, Lim says: “It’s the colour scheme of both our wardrobes: masculine and calming.”

THE FANDIS

Singapore’s answer to the Beckhams is also fast becoming our answer to the Hadids, what with only daughter Iman (far left), 18, establishing herself as the next local model to watch. And of course, mum’s the stunning South African beauty Wendy Jacobs (middle). Here, the telegenic duo pose with the baby of the clan (and, we dare say, model-material-inthe- making), Iryan, 11, in the living room of a family friend (they prefer to keep their Seletar condominium private), while soccer legend dad Fandi and brothers Irfan, Ikhsan and Ilhan – all aspiring star athletes and equally handsome – are away for training.

TRACY PHILLIPS’ “TRIBE”

The effervescent director of creative consultancy PPurpose (middle) has been living on her own since she was 19, so good friends to her are as good as family – and often spend time at her place just like one. Joining her in this photo taken at her new Palm Springs-inspired apartment in Tanglin are some of her dearest pals, including jewellery designer Louise Siahaan (fifth from left), senior creative manager Ida Tan (second from left), and DJ Hasnor Sidik (first from left), whom she’s known since her Zouk marketing days.
