Predictable as it is, the floral print is a trend that’s just too fun, flirty and feminine to not be repeatedly revived. This season, it’s about all-over, itty-bitty flower power, so take a leaf out of the books of Zac Posen, Salvatore Ferragamo and Balenciaga and go extra small with those blooms.

#2 Hot Off the Press

Extra! Extra! Read all about it: the newsboy cap is back in season. Just a bit rounder and fuller than a flat cap, it was first popularised in the 19th century but got revived by high street retailers in the 2000s. If you need sun protection, go for the soft cotton ones as they usually have a larger brim. Style it the Bella Hadid way with good ol’ denim.

#7 NAILING IT

Nail piercings are back. The best part about this ‘90s trend? They don’t hurt one bit ’cos the piercings are done on acrylic or gel layers (though you can do them on your actual nails, of course). To up the bling factor, use rings with beads and diamante stones. Just be sure to go easy on the keyboard at work.

#9 Magic Oils

Oils have been a thing for a while now, but Botaneco Garden Trio Oil haircare range contains three organic types you might not have heard of – babassu, baobab and chufa oils. And while most hair products contain silicone, a synthetic ingredient that provides shine, the silicones also seal out nutrients – thankfully, this product range contains none of that. Struggle with hair loss? This series also controls hair fall, so you can look forward to lustrous hair.

Botaneco Garden Trio Oil products retail between $7.90 and $11.90 at all Guardian outlets.
