1 It is illegal to die in the Italian village of Falciano del Massico. Since the beginning of March 2012, it’s been illegal to die in this village. The mayor enacted the law because the town’s cemetery was full and they had no more land. But guess what? The law was already broken by the end of the month. We wonder if the person was arrested.
2 It’s illegal to seduce and debauch any unmarried woman in Michigan. This bizarre law was enacted in 1931. If found guilty, the man gets up to five years in jail. The reverse is totally legal, though.
3 Incestuous marriages are legal in Alaska. So anything goes. We’re talking direct bloodlines, including brother and sister, and even mother and son. Ick.
4 It’s legal to marry a dead person in France. That is, as long as you can prove that your dead partner had every intent to tie the knot with you. It also requires special clearance from the French president. And in case you were thinking of all the “black widows” who could exploit this law, it’s not possible for you to inherit from someone you married after his death.
