Imran Nedunchelian 26, Personal Trainer
It’s always easy to spot Imran in a crowd – the 26-year-old stands at 186cm, and has a body that can rival Thor’s (sorry, Chris Hemsworth). But beyond his chiseled good looks, Imran also won us over with his affable nature and aw-shucks demeanor.
“I really didn’t expect to win the title,” he chuckled softly at this photoshoot, less than 12 hours after he was crowned CLEO’s Most Eligible Bachelor 2016. “In fact, when I went for the first photoshoot, I thought that the competition looked tough because the guys came in looking like cover models before they even did their hair and makeup.”
We think he’s just being modest, but that’s also the very same quality that made us love him. If you attended the party last month, you’d have seen him giving his all during the striptease performance – no doubt, the highlight of the evening. What you didn’t see, though, was the 10,000 push-ups (OK, we might have exaggerated there) he did while waiting backstage, and his refusal to drink water the entire day, a technique used by body builders to make their muscles more visible.
FYI, he’s totally single and available, but you’ll have to take a number and stand in line to date this eligible bachelor. The personal trainer, who has both male and female clients, gets hit on pretty often. “I’ve had clients who told me that they still felt very sore after our last workout, and they’d like to take the next session outside of the gym… for drinks or a movie,” admitted Imran sheepishly.
“Once, a client was doing squats, and I was verbally checking whether the correct muscles were properly engaged. The client told me ‘Don’t be shy to feel me if you need to, you can touch my butt if you want’,” Imran recalled with a laugh. “I politely declined!”

Our hearts skipped a beat when Brian told us he was running a fever on the day of the Finals Party, but when he showed up looking cheerful (albeit tired), we knew this award would be given to the right man. “Honestly, I wasn’t in my freshest state at the party because of the fever, so I just tried my best to enjoy this rare opportunity to be on stage,” he said. “I was very happy to be able to walk away with something at the end of the night.”
Always clean-shaven and neatly groomed, Brian believes in having a basic skincare routine. “I usually wash my face in the morning and before I sleep at night. I also wash my face after the gym.” Aside from a cleansing facial foam, he doesn’t use any other product to maintain his clear complexion – what a lucky chap.
Many people have told Brian that his smile brightens up their day, and he thinks it’s his best feature. Naturally, he also finds bubbly personalities attractive. “Your other half [should] really be somebody who understands you, can relax with you and cheers you up when you need it,” he said. Girls, if you think you fit the bill, you’ll be glad to know that Brian is, in his own words, “single and available”.
Why we love Brian
1 His passion for his job is through the roof. After completing his photo shoot on a Saturday morning, Brian went to work even though he was still feeling unwell. Talk about a workaholic.
2 Fun fact: The badminton fan watches about half-an-hour’s worth of badminton matches online every day.
3 Brian keeps himself neat and presentable by trimming his hair once a month. “When a guy’s hair gets messy, it changes his whole look,” says Brian.

Shaun Tupaz

Known for his amusing antics both on-air and at comedy gigs around town, Shaun’s win came as no surprise to anyone – but himself. “Even though I won Hottest Life of the Party, I don’t always see myself as that because, to me, I’m just being myself.”
In spite of that, there’s no doubt that Shaun is the man you’ll naturally be drawn to at any occasion. And when it comes to charming others at parties, he has some pretty useful tips to share. “I use this trick where I introduce myself, try to get the person’s name and use it in a joke right away. That way, I get to remember the person’s name and make him or her feel special.”
There are cases, however, where Shaun feels it’s more important to be wallpaper (and not a wallflower because “wallpaper is flatter” – Shaun’s words, not ours) and let others take centre stage. “There can only be one life of the party, so if you see somebody else doing it, you have to play a supporting role. Otherwise, there’ll just be a clash of egos and nobody wants to see that.”
Aside from creating giggles, affecting change is also on his list of to-dos. Shaun has been busy filming a series of YouTube videos with Happy-TV that aims to tackle social issues through comedy and music. Changing the world with what he does best – what more can we ask from Shaun?

Besides being voted the sexiest amongst this year’s crop of Bachelors, we reckon that Benny is pretty popular too. This dude received over 400 messages on the night of the party, congratulating him on the win.
“I won’t call myself popular, I’m just a very inviting guy!” he said. And we totally agree. We’ve witnessed and even fallen prey to “the Benny effect” ourselves. If you’ve crossed paths with this amiable chap, you’d definitely want to get to know him better. So we’re not surprised to learn that some people were so charmed by him that they’d go out of their way to keep in contact.
But take that boy-next-door grin off his face (and that shirt off his ripped torso), and you’ll have a sexy beast worthy of rivalling Magic Mike himself. Those hips don’t lie, as is evident from his striptease performance during the party.
“I’ve been told that my eye contact can get quite intense,” he admitted. “People tend to get shy and look away, but sometimes, I don’t even realise that I’m doing it.” Well, we say it works in his favour, considering that he doesn’t need to pick girls up. “I don’t know, the girls that I meet always tend to make the first move!”
So, what’s the biggest turn-on for CLEO’s Sexiest Bachelor? “Pencil skirts,” he said without skipping a beat. “I often find myself staring at air stewardesses.”
How about the sexiest thing that has ever happened to him? “I’m still waiting for it to happen,” he confessed a little sheepishly. That’s your cue, ladies.

It’s all about aesthetics for Derrick, who’s a graphic designer by trade. So is it any surprise that he won the Most Stylish Bachelor title? “I was with a modeling agency about four years back,” Derrick revealed. “I’ve always had an interest in fashion and photography.”
His go-to outfit is usually a well-fitted scoop neck tee, paired with black jeans and a dark pair of boots. But before you rush out to give your man a makeover, there’s an important requirement that can’t be bought: confidence. “Being stylish is not about the clothes you wear, but how you wear them,” Derrick mused.
In case you haven’t noticed, he’s also the younger brother of fellow CLEO bachelor Darren Wee. So, does big bro go to him for fashion advice? “All the time!” said Derrick with a laugh. “It can get annoying sometimes, because he asks way too much!”
Well, we’d be rushing to him for advice too if we were guys. And in case there’s any guy reading this, here are some valuable style tips from the maven: “Find the perfect pair of jeans, one that has the right cutting for your legs and shows off your behind. Your shirt should fit you nicely to show off your body and if it’s shortsleeved, the sleeve should end mid-bicep.” Talk about attention to detail.
