Kevin Kwan’s 2013 book is getting a filmadaptation, and here are three reasons why we can’t wait to see it on the big screen.
1 It’s helmed by Jon M Chu
He’s known for directing movies like Step Up 2:The Streets, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and Now You See Me 2.
2 It features an all-Asian cast...
Including Singaporeans Tan Kheng Hua, Fiona Xie and Pierre Png.
3 It’s shot locally
We’re not sure how long the shoot will take, but it’s been reported that filming has already started. According to Jon’s Instagram, possible filming locations include Marina Bay Sands and Penang. Now you know where to hang out if you want to catch a glimpse of the cast…
