COSMOPROF ASIA 2015 (November 11–13)

One of Asia’s most influential beauty trade shows, Cosmoprof Asia celebrated its 20th anniversary from November 11 to 13 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. This year’s event saw more than 63,000 visitors from 119 countries and regions take part in the programme, which included educational sessions on beauty trends, Asian market development and International Nail Days. Exhibitors from 46 countries showcased their innovations in the Discover Trends area where products from the three fastest- growing segments of the cosmetic industry – natural and organic, baby care and men’s care – were highlighted. http://www.cosmoprof-asia.com

GLOBAL WELLNESS SUMMIT 2015 (November 13–15)

The Global Wellness Summit took place in Mexico City on November 13–15, gathering bright thinkers from a diverse cross-section of industries to contemplate strategies for ‘Building A Well World’. It was the largest Summit in its nine-year history, attracting more than 470 delegates from over 40 countries, including great minds from the medical and workplace wellness worlds. Delegates were immersed in new concepts from ingestible, health- tracking nanotechnology to new medical research showing the powerful link between the brain and skin, and the ‘Uberisation’ of massage with on-demand platforms. http://www.globalwellnesssummit.com

COSMOPROF ASIA SPA CONFERENCE 2015 (November 12) 

As part of Cosmoprof Asia 2015, the eighth edition of the Spa Conference was held on November 12. Fifteen industry leaders, including Johnny Chang, Lily Tan, Lucia Cunha and Sara Codner shared their insight on best practices within the spa and wellness industry. Discussions were focused on themes such as the evolution of the spa business in China, how to create customer experiences and the growing influence of male clients.  http://www.cosmoprof-asia.com
