ITALIAN SHIPYARD AZIMUT YACHTS showcased it latest model Verve 40 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Nov 3-7 in the US. The Verve 40 merges the features of the traditional American walkaround cruiser with the sophistication of Italian style.

It can reach a top speed of 44 knots and a cruising speed of 37 knots propelled by three 350hp Mercury Verado engines. The manoeuvring joystick and skyhook system are also available to be added on.

The elegant and spacious boat features an extensive cabin area. On the main deck is plenty of space for socialising, equipped with L-shaped sofa arrangement that can be turned into a C-configuration by moving the rear-facing sofa back on Harken sliders. The electrically operated foldaway dining table enables the entire area to be transformed into a roomy sunbed in the stern.

The classic sunbed with reclining backrests and sofas with lots of underseat storage space can be found in the bow area. A section of the gunwale at the stern end of the yacht’s port side swings open outwards to create a convenient side platform with teak finishing and an incorporated swim ladder. The lower deck with enhanced free space is innovation of the model, which provides comfort and relaxation for a weekender. www.azimutyachts.com.
