AFTER TWO YEARS OF PLANNING and tens of thousands of man-hours in construction, the Wider 150 Superyacht Project Genesi was launched at the Wider Super Yacht Division headquarters in Ancona, Italy.

Constructed entirely in aluminium, the elegant profile of the Wider 150 was created by yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with Wider Founder / CEO Tilli Antonelli and the in-house Wider design team.

The Wider 150 boasts a spacious external area offering a number of relaxing areas including a spectacular beach club along with a seawater swimming pool, a sun deck with a full bar, barbeque and spa, as well as a concealed foredeck lounge perfect for entertaining.

Inside, the Wider 150 offers all of the comforts an owner demands at home while at sea. The elegant, contemporary interior includes furniture and leather supplied by Poltrona Frau, with large floor-to- ceiling windows throughout the main and upper deck lounge areas letting sunlight flood in and providing panoramic views of the sea. The upper deck features a sky lounge and dining area with sliding doors to the outside. On the main deck, the main saloon is divided into two large living spaces, one for relaxing and the second a formal dining area.

Forward of the saloon is the full-beam owner’s suite that can also be split into two areas separated by sliding doors, an office/study and sleeping quarters including walk-in wardrobe, a sizeable sea terrace, as well as bathroom with shower and custom-made wooden bathtub. Guest accommodation is equally generous with four en-suite cabins including two VIPs and two standard.

The Wider 150 is powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system combined with Azimuthal pods, reducing consumption while at the same time facilitating the unprecedented range of 3,000 nautical miles that is expected at a cruising speed of 13 knots, increasing to 4,200nm at the economical speed of 11 knots. She can also run at five knots when solely using batteries in zero-emission mode.
