Fairline Yatchs unveiled its first yacht designed by renowned Italian superyacht designer Alberto Mancini.

The model features the combination of Mancini’s Italian styling, naval architecture by renowned Dutch firm Vripack and the hand-crafted, made in Great Britain quality of Fairline’s skilled craftsmen. The boat is in the final modelling stages with production set to begin this autumn and customer deliveries are expected in the summer of 2017.

“The benefit of working with external designers is that they push the boundaries of what is considered possible. Mancini has brought a fresh approach in his interpretation of Fairline’s design language,” says Fairline Yachts Head of Design Andrew Hope. “Our naval architects Vripack designed a hull shape that allows for maximum volume, which in turn has significantly improved comfort levels on board, as well as making the boat stable, dry and very safe.”

The company provides clients with a choice of three different galley arrangements on the yacht. There are also long cockpit or long saloon variants – the former offering large outdoor space, the latter for those where air-conditioned interior space is more important. Maximising space and comfort are the key features of the Targa 62 GTO. The boat features a large sliding, glazed sunroof and powered patio doors that disappear through the cockpit floor transforming the main deck and adding to the overall sense of space and light.

Detailed layout plans and interior finishes will be available to view at the Cannes, Southampton and Fort Lauderdale Boat Shows this year.
