From April 6-9, Cartier debut masterpieces from the Etourdissant High Jewellery Collection at an exclusive exhibition and intimate VIP dinners. Held at the ICC’s Sky100 overlooking the Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, the venue greets guests with the White Zone, where Etourdissant pieces laid in display; then the Blue Zone featuring the jeweller’s Traditional Collection, followed by the Yellow Zone of timepieces and the Green Zone, which highlights the Maison’s animal-themed pieces, ending with the Red Zone of exceptional creations.

On April 7, Maje hosted an opening cocktail for its five-day pop-up exhibition at IFC Mall in Hong Kong. Themed “Behind the Mirror”, the space took the form of a larger-than-life walk-in wardrobe, allowing visitors to virtually put on outfits from the brand’s SS2016 collection on a digital Magic Mirror. Celebrities including Kelly Chen, Miriam Yeung and Cecilia So attended the ceremony and had fun striking poses with coveted pieces in the mirror.

Celebrating its 123rd anniversary, Mikimoto opened an ocean-themed store at 1881 Heritage in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong on April 7. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by Rebecca Tang-Wei in the afternoon, followed by a grand reception at night featuring a special ballet performance and a catwalk of models adorned with the brand’s jewelleries. The night saw the presence of stars and high-profile models including Cissy Wang, Margaret Chung and Janet Ma.

On April 7, TAG Heuer International Ambassador Chris Hemsworth officiated a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the brand’s boutique in Hong Kong. The renowned Australian actor also kicked off TAG Heuer’s partnership with Cathay Pacific / HSBC Hong Kong Sevens as the Official Timekeeper and Sponsoring Partner at an ceremony held at Habour City’s rooftop carpark, where he showcased his rugby-knowhow along with three Hong Kong Rugby Team members, raising funds for Hong Kong Rugby Union Community Foundation.

Monte Carlo Yachts introduced its latest and largest yacht to date, the MCY105, to Hong Kong on April 15, following the initial launch in Venice last July. The event was held at Aberdeen Marina Club: more than 200 guests came to celebrate the premier ceremony.
