ISA YACHTS, a brand under Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the sale of the new ISA Super Sportivo 100-foot GTO to a European customer. Delivery is scheduled for 2020 and the vessel will be built at its Ancona shipyard in Italy.
Designed by architect Marco Casali of Too Design, the goal is to be one of the fastest models available on the market. Powered with three 2,000-horsepower engines, it will reach a maximum speed of 50 knots. To achieve minimum weight and maximum strength, the hull and superstructure will be built with epoxy-based vinylester resin with carbon fibre and Kevlar reinforcements.
“ISA Super Sportivo 100-foot GTO stems from the idea of creating a boat that would exalt the values of sportiness and seaworthiness typical of an open boat,” says Casali. “The sleek lines are highlighted by a tall V-shaped bow and by the profile rapidly declining towards the stern. The sizeable open surfaces at the bow and stern make it unique in its category, while the hard-top, large opening glass panels ensure maximum comfort even in the cockpit’s covered areas. The performance of the boat is stylistically enhanced by the large air intakes with a dynamic function for those positioned above the hard top. The interiors, available in variants from three- to five-guest cabins in addition to the two crew cabins, are completely customisable and characterised by a design oriented to the creation of light and iconic spaces.”
