ORYX YACHTS, a brand of sport yachts and cruisers under the Gulf Craft group, expands into the European market with the debut of the Oryx 379 at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.

Designed by Hussein Alshaali, the Oryx 379 is the first of the next-generation luxury sport cruisers built specifically for the international market. Launched in March 2019 at the Dubai International Boat Show, the 39-footer (about 11.9 metres) is a combination of striking style and technology, created to be the ideal sport cruiser for both experienced and first-time boat owners.

With a distinct near plumb bow design, the Oryx 379 merges power and performance with exceptional styling. Maximum interior and exterior space has been utilised inside and out, offering ample social areas for excursions with family and friends. Inside, it comfortably sleeps up to four guests. Composite teak decking and warm white lighting create an ambience of a home away from home.

Part of the Gulf Craft group, the Oryx brand was established in 2005 and has been hugely successful in the Middle East market.

Brand Manager Talia Maggi comments, “We’re excited to debut the Oryx 379 as our first boat in the European market and are already in the design stages for the next model in the series at around 50 feet, set to be launched at Cannes 2020.”

Following the Cannes show, the Oryx team will attend the Southampton Boat Show and Genoa International Boat Show to display the 379.
