ITALIAN YARD OVERMARINE launched its second Mangusta Oceano 42, a 42m long-range model built in steel and aluminium. The Alberto Mancini-designed yacht has a range of over 4,500nm and a cruising speed of 11 knots.

Special exterior designs include the bow where two sunbathing areas merge into a swimming-pool with an infinity-effect waterfall, while in the stern a hatch can open out to create a platform above the sea, overlooking the furnished beach area.

The interior layout and decor were entirely customised, and the yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in five cabins as well as a crew of seven.

It’s the second three-deck displacement yacht Mangusta has built in its new 22,000sqm facility in the Pisa wet dock, Tuscany, which is used exclusively for production in metal. Other units are currently being built in the same location, including a 54m from the new GranSport line.
