Launched last year, Cartier’s Cactus de Cartier line raised the stakes in sculptural succulents with whopper-sized, cacti-inspired jewellery rendered in gold and gemstones. Now, 12 pieces spanning rings, earrings and necklaces (from $4,850) have been added, with a majority in the precious metal of the moment, pink gold, complete with spinels and diamonds. For something daintier yet equally striking, the same motif – now in 18K yellow gold, carnelians, emeralds and diamonds – debuts as a clasp on two vintage-style purse bags.
